Content Creator

Lifco Hydraulics is a North American company with locations in St Catharines, Markham, Western New York, Pittsburgh area, and Corpus Christi in Texas. We specialize in manufacturing heavy excavator attachments and distribution of hydraulics. Our customer base includes well known companies such as SpaceX, Turkish Airlines, Gulf Drilling LLC, Northrop Grumman, Boeing as well as US Navy and many others.

**Job Location**:
250 Martindale Rd, St. Catharines ON L2S OB2 Canada

Travel to other locations as required

**Salary**:
Between $25-$35/h

**Position Summary**:
**WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE**
- Come up with creative ideas on how to best meet department needs in video form and a plan for development
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
- Become an on screen personality presenting the content
- Decide which ideas compliment each other and how they can influence future content
- Film/edit and publish content in its entirety to display concise, visually pleasing stories
- Direction of animation team (including interviewing)
- Utilize graphic design tools to create visually appealing assets that enhance the overall user experience.
- Input music, dialogues, effects, Inserting closed captioning, graphics, or other on-screen text into a video
- Ensure all creative work is of highest quality and reflects brand standards
- Be a supportive member to the creative team and contribute to ongoing team support

**SKILLS AND ASSETS THAT WOULD ASSIST IN GETTING THE JOB DONE**
- Able to travel to USA
- Valid G drivers license
- Strong understanding of current trends in social media,content strategy and its role in driving digital marketing efforts.
- Knowledge of e-commerce principles and best practices.
- Creative mind that can generate innovative ideas and development processes
- Outgoing character and confidence for presenting as an on screen personality
- Experience presenting/entertaining in front of a camera
- Able to work collaboratively in a demanding, fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal, communication skills both written and oral and ability to work with all levels of staff and management
