Shipper/receiver/parts Driver

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving operations in our dealership. Position will be cross trained to help with parts transactions and parts delivery as well This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Utilize AS400 and Warehouse Management System (WMS) to process incoming and outgoing shipments
- Pick, pack, and label orders accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload shipments using various equipment such as order pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
- Inspect incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Proficient in using AS400 or similar inventory management systems
- Familiarity with order picking processes and equipment (e.g., order pickers, reach trucks)
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Note: This is a paid position, as all positions within our organization are compensated.
**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
