Planner - Abitibi Region

**Planner - Abitibi Region**

The Planner will be responsible for the seamless workflow of daily operations, in an organized and timely manner. They ensure employees are trained and follow all policies and procedures assigned, deliver excellent service and build/develop lasting relationships with customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist and work with manager and supervisors in completing quotes for products and services for internal and external customers
- Assist and work with manager and supervisors in reducing WIP
- Assist in creating project schedules and updating according to progress
- Complete HR and H&S orientation duties with new hires
- Request set-up in M3 and monitor for new hires
- Manage PSD policies and procedures including service request and reports etc.
- Ensure service reports are attached and in order when requesting work orders to be closed.
- Establish a working relationship with customers / fellow employees
- Help with internal documentation of training.
- Assist with internal tracking of PSD service clothing and required tools.
- Understand and help manage the employee related cost section of the service variance
- Review flight costs and ensure they are allocated to the correct work orders
- Direct calls from customers to the appropriate technical service advisor.
- Assist manager and supervisors with daily duties.
- Assist in ordering parts and shipping to customer sites.
- Opening service requests (SRF).
- Updating SRFs as required.
- Assist & Mentor Technicians

EXPERIENCE:

- 5 years’ experience as a Service Technician or equivalent

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes,
- Strong knowledge of Epiroc Products
- A proven Self Starter and able to work with a minimum of supervision
