Little Yogis is a mobile evidence-based movement & mindfulness enrichment program for kids. Our tagline is “Positivity & Movement for Busy Minds” as we aim to improve physical, mental, and emotional health through our curriculum. Little Yogis provides mindful movement instruction, mental health and wellness classes and workshops for everyone within the school and childcare community including students, school administrators, teachers and parents.

**Position Overview**:
As a Mom & Baby Yoga Teacher at Little Yogis Academy, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe and inclusive space for mothers and their babies to practice yoga together. You will lead classes designed to enhance the physical health and emotional connection of both mothers and babies, fostering a sense of community and support among participants. We are looking for a qualified instructor who is passionate about promoting wellness during the postpartum period and has a deep understanding of yoga principles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead Mom & Baby Yoga classes that cater to the specific needs of postpartum mothers and their babies.
- Create a nurturing and welcoming environment for all participants.
- Develop and modify yoga sequences to accommodate various fitness levels and postpartum recovery stages.
- Provide guidance on proper postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation methods.
- Promote the importance of bonding and connection between mothers and babies during the practice.
- Monitor participants' progress and adapt classes as needed.
- Offer support and encouragement to participants on their wellness journey.
- Maintain a clean and safe yoga studio environment.

**Requirements**:

- Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) 200 certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience teaching Mom & Baby Yoga or related classes is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of postpartum health and wellness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Passion for promoting the physical and emotional well-being of mothers and babies.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate class times.
