**About Voltera**
Our flagship product, the V-One, is a multi-functional desktop PCB printer that was designed for rapid prototyping and education in traditional, rigid electronics.
Our newest product, NOVA, is the world’s first direct-write printer for soft, flexible, and stretchable electronics. It’s designed to push the limits of what’s possible, bridging the gap between what we _can _do and what we _wish_ we could do with electronics.

**About the Job**
- People leadership of the members of the hardware team (coaching, reviews, etc.)
- Allocating engineering resources within the team to accomplish goals
- Reporting on projects and milestones to the leadership team
- Managing complex projects with shifting deadlines
- Identifying areas of improvement in our processes and policies
- Collaborate with other teams on mechanical design and implementation
- Work with suppliers to prototype designs and optimize DFM
- Work with production for NPI and product handoff and to optimize DFA
**About You**
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role managing a small team
- Experience working at hardware companies (ideally robotics)
- Experience with R&D projects and product development
- Experience with various manufacturing processes (Plastics, Die Casting, Extrusions, Sheet Metal)
- Experience designing electromechanical systems
- Bill of materials management
**Nice to haves**:
- Prior experience working with industrial design
- Experience with electrical CAD (Solidworks, Eagle)
