Compounding Technician

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the compounding, preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper storage and handling of medications
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
- Provide education to patients under the direction of the pharmacist and their families regarding medication usage and potential interactions
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a pharmacy is required and compounding pharmacy is desired.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of pharmacy operations
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members

Note: All positions at our organization are paid positions, including internships.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
