**Family Pet Hospital & 24hr Pet Emergency Centre **is hiring a full time Veterinary Medical Receptionist to join our passionate and dedicated team.
As a customer service representative, we are the face of the hospital. We are the first team member our clients see or the first voice our clients hear, which means we can make or break the first impression of Family Pet Hospital. Our job is very important and we are an integral part of the hospital.
**Your role at Family Pet Hospital will include**:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic
- Answer phone calls on our multi-line phone system and schedule appointments
- Collect and update patient information in the computer system
- Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and issuing invoices
- Provide basic information to clients about veterinary services and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
**What’s required?**:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software
- Previous veterinary education or experience is preferred
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
