Andamong the many awards it has acquired over the years, Excel was awarded the Professional Business of the Year in 2022 by the Vancouver Island Business Examiner Awards

Excel is PTIB Designated and maintains representation in the BC Career College Association, including representation on the BCCCA Board. The College is a designated institute through the BC Student Assistance Program(Student Aid BC), and all diploma programs offered at Excel qualify for funding options

We're currently seeking a computer skills Instructor to join our team in Courtenay, BC.
This is a part-time (20 hours ), instructional contract role will allow you to make a real impact on the lives of our students. As a computer skills Instructor, you'll be responsible for facilitating the development of our students knowledge and skills in computer skills.

With your prior experience in teaching computer skills courses or workplace training, you'll be able to inspire and educate our students to reach their full potential. In addition, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Your organizational and administrative skills should be exceptional, allowing you to meet deadlines, manage student records, and respond to student inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in computer skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to set up your class for success
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
