**Job Summary**

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a full-service restaurant environment is preferred.
- Mandatory FOODSAFE Level 1 certification.
- Thorough understanding and adherence to proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Strong team orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Robust work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe workplace environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook delicious pizzas following Makhans' recipes and guidelines.
- Ensure the kitchen area is consistently clean and sanitized.
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Assist in developing new pizza recipes and menu items.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to provide exceptional service to customers.
- Execute food preparation, seasoning, and cooking duties efficiently and within specified timelines.
- Accommodate dietary restrictions by preparing meals accordingly.
- Operate kitchen equipment and appliances safely and proficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all work areas.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of food inventories.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of food items according to established guidelines.
- Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients for subsequent shifts.
- Adhere strictly to recipes and presentation standards for consistent quality.
- Supervise kitchen operations as required.
- Comply with all sanitation and food safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of food, supplies, and equipment inventory.

- Fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in meal preparation, food service, or the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience as a cook or in a restaurant kitchen is advantageous.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
