**What You Will Do**

As a **Treasury Analyst, **you will provide support to our various accounting functions, including treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial planning and analysis, and corporate development. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate treasury records and reconciling discrepancies.

**Key Relationships**:The Treasury Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, Treasury.

At a high level you will:

- Update monthly a two-year rolling cash and debt model, with actual input from corporate accounting, and forecast input from the business units and corporate office.
- Prepare monthly reporting on capital expenditures, including the update of actual spend and forecast from the business, pro-actively communicating with the business to understand key variances, and writing insightful variance commentary, for the review of the Director, Finance.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, post journal entries, and perform account reconciliations for accounts relating to the treasury department.
- Update quarterly the debt covenant compliance certificates.
- Prepare quarterly reporting on the cash conversion cycle, including the update of actuals, collaborating with the business to understand changes in trend, and reflecting those findings in the report.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on cash, debt, and interest expense.
- Assess short-term cash needs daily, and action as needed through short-term cash investments, foreign exchange trades and settlements, as well as draws and repayments of debt.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendors, customers, and various banks.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex banking issues affecting needed service and following up with the bank to ensure swift resolution.
- Support wire payment processes through online banking platforms, checking for accuracy and appropriate backup.
- Support the business with lease vs. buy analysis for material handling equipment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.

**Who You Are**

We would love to hear from you if you have:

- University degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of treasury and/or accounting experience.
- Previous cash flow forecasting experience.
- Excellent attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and strong analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel use and comfortable creating advanced formulas, complex spreadsheets, and visualization of data.
- Independent problem solving and decision-making abilities, elevating issues where appropriate.
- Self-motivated and capable of working both independently as well as part of a team.
- Keen to learn and cross-train in various areas of treasury.
- Strong verbal communication.
- Organized and comfortable self-scheduling.

**It would be a bonus if you have**:

- CTP, CFA, CPA, MBA.
- Previous experience with SAP.
