**The opportunity**
- This contract opportunity is part of a Request for Proposal (RFP) and anticipated to start by end Ferbruary if we are the successful vendor.
- This contract is a hybrid opportunity that will last 36 months (12 month renewable).

What you will do:

- Create the right conditions for a high-performance team focused on priority business needs;
- Support the PO in prioritizing the product backlog and ensure its maintenance, facilitate planning meetings, daily scrimmages, retrospectives and progress reviews;
- Remove barriers and ensure close collaboration between the various stakeholders, as well as clarity of roles;
- Ensure that the implementation team is functional, productive and continuously improving its productivity;
- Evaluate the risks and the action plans to be put in place;
- Ensure the implementation of the action plans defined during the retrospectives and following the risk assessment;
- Protect the team from external interference;
- Produce accountability that is appropriate to the context (just enough, just in time);
- Ensure the proper allocation of resources (human and budgetary) in accordance with the orientations, the roadmap and the priorities (capacity management);
- Plan and facilitate committees according to the established governance in order to provide visibility on the progress of the project(s) (scope, timelines, budgets, risks, decisions) and obtain the required support from the partners and managers involved in the project.
- Fully utilize the tools, methods and techniques of project management, framed by the Agile philosophy, to manage medium and large-scale initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders;
- Produce the required metrics and measurements, review them and implement the required actions to ensure performance. Ensure a periodic update of the project and produce a progress report;
- Define, with the concerned stakeholders, the strategies of realization, testing, implementation, training and change management;
- As a member of the project office, act as an ambassador in the implementation of agility within the organization, actively participate in communities of practice and in the evolution of tools and processes;
- Any other responsibilities that fall under this level of intervention.

Your qualifications:

- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field of information technology;
- Project Manager need to demonstrate that, within the last eight (8) years, he or she was involved in at least two (2) projects of a minimum size of one thousand (1000)days, for which the Project Manager's participation reached a minimum of one hundred (100) days in each project. These projects must have been completed in the area of systems maintenance, evolution and development
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an agile project manager. These accomplishments must have been in an organizational environment comparable to the Department.
