We are looking for a Biomechanics and Product Ergonomics specialist who will report to the Biomechanics Team Leader to help us optimize the experience and performance of our recreational product users. As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to the organization's growth. You will be at the forefront of influencing the innovation and creation of new concepts and the development of our future products at BRP.

**YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Optimally integrate function and user performance (riders and passengers) in the design of motorized recreational products (gas, electric or assisted).

Play an important role in the creation, development and validation of concepts and hypotheses related to the use of our current and future products.

Participate and play an active role in creativity sessions with the Product Ergonomics, Design and Engineering teams, as well as with designers and developers, so that we can better respond to the ergonomic needs of customers in relation to our future products.

Analyze and optimize the performance of the different actions performed by pilots and passengers during product use by means of field observation, modelling, static validation in the laboratory and dynamic validation in real-life use.

Participate in the collection of data using various technical and scientific tools, and process this data. Compile and structure this information in a database and as reports.

Drive and validate vehicles and concepts under development in a real-life context (at our Research Centre and elsewhere in the world) because you are committed to optimizing the user experience.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A university Degree in Kinesiology or Ergonomics related to product development, or equivalent.

Experience in human movement analysis or in the ergonomics of recreational, sport or utility products, in order to design prototypes for ergonomic validation purposes.

The ability to validate human performance, write analysis reports to express certain ergonomic parameters, and present these analyses.

Experience in scientific data collection and thorough knowledge of the use of certain tools, software and databases, including:
anthropometric measurements, including the design and use of virtual mannequins in a CAD environment.

capture and analysis of human motion.

pressure distribution on vehicle seats.

measurements related to Cognitive Ergonomics and UX-UI (intuitive aspect, attention level, etc...).

physiological measures associated with effort and fatigue.

Interest in and knowledge of Virtual Reality (VR).

Ability to communicate in French and English (spoken and written).

Interest in driving and designing recreational or performance vehicles.
