Primary Duties
Reporting to the Supervisor, Services and Gas Operations, the successful Student - Metering will be responsible for:

- Installation of water meters in residential and commercial environments
- Painting and general maintenance of water/gas meters
- Delivering notification of upcoming meter changes to customers
- Providing clerical assistance for coordination of meter changes
- Completion of records associated with meter changes
- Providing support to the meter change teams
- Other duties as required
- Full-time enrollment in a recognized post-secondary educational institution, in good academic standing, in a relevant field
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience working with tools and equipment
- Hands on experience working with iPads

- Full-time enrollment in a recognized post-secondary educational institution, in good academic standing, in a relevant field
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience working with tools and equipment

Special Working Conditions/Conditions of Employment
- Full-time student at a recognized post-secondary educational institution, and returning to full time attendance in the Fall of 2023.
- Completion of a Criminal Record Check at the employee’s own expense, and to the satisfaction of Utilities Kingston
- Valid Class “G” driver’s license
