Maintenance Technician

As a **Maintenance Technician** you will play a crucial role in ensuring quality is a priority each and every time, while also achieving time allowances for each job assigned.

- Responsibilities:_
- Maintaining safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Disassemble and reassemble machines to repair or replace worn or malfunctioning components and consumables
- Update and maintain assigned machines per manufacturer specifications
- Maintain parts inventory, personal library of machine manuals, company-assigned laptop and tools
- Knowledge of high-speed machining processes, adjustments and accuracy tests procedures
- Attend ongoing training events sponsored by company or machine manufacturers to stay up-to-date on the latest technology and repair option
- Operate machine tools such as vertical mills, lathes, and grinders to fabricate parts and asset
- Install major components such as motors or hydraulic assemblies, inspect parts, sub-assemblies and finished products to ensure quality
- Responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various CNC/EDM

machines, Makino, DMG, OKK, Kuraki, ONA.
- Qualifications:_
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- 442A/309A Industrial Electrical license and a Master License is an asset.
- Five (5) years CNC service and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Heidenhain, Allen Bradley and Siemens controls
- Working knowledge of “G” Code programming
- Five (5) years of related experience within a Maintenance Department
- Experience working in a mechanical capacity and troubleshooting is required
- Ability to perform under pressure and work independently, strong attention to detail and

analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multi task, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Ability to ensure quality standards are met
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
- Available for on call work, overtime, and off shifts as required
