Would you like to work for an industry-leading structural steel provider?
SIN Structures Inc., a division of Steelcon Fabrication Inc., in St. Catharines, Ontario is seeking a Material Handler to work as part of a team that follows best practice processes to ensure customer service is efficient and provides accurate, good quality structural steel materials. A material handler maintains production and distribution of materials by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product.
**As a material handler, you will contribute to our team by**:

- Handling materials for various operational processes including inventory control to identify and track materials that are being loaded
- Actively and safely operating crane machines to assist with the following:

- loading or unloading structural steel materials onto flatbed trucks
- loading steel on to the SIN Line machines
- organizing steel materials from suppliers
- off-loading and stockpiling beams after fabrication
- unloading supplier trucks and stockpile for use
- Documenting product shipment by recording materials shipped.
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and participate in all group health and safety meetings
- Complying with all company policies and procedures, and provincial health and safety standards
- Communicating and working with other team members to ensure proper movement of materials throughout the shop
- Other duties as assigned

- 1+ years of crane experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to easily adopt new processes

- Focused on productivity, quality, and accuracy
