We are looking for a Feeder - EVOL 115 (Printer Slotter Helper) for our Ancaster location. This position will be reporting to the Production Supervisor.

**Broad Purpose**:
To safely operate and maintain all press equipment and machinery to produce quality products per company quality policy.

**General Job Duties**:

- Must work in a team environment and be a team player
- Follow instructions from the Operator
- Perform any and all set-up procedures at standards set by the company
- Prepare the machine for production and run at full speed or above the standard set by the company
- Will be required to set up and operate machine as per orders on Automated take-off robot palletizer.
- Assist Operator with problems and help to keep machine running to targets
- Under lines of progression is required to back-up operator and fill in when on breaks or absent
- Maintain specifications by observing the operation; detecting malfunctions, inspecting parts and adjusting controls as required
- Visually and physically inspect continually for any non-conformances and document all information on quality KQCC form
- Will demonstrate a continual commitment to safety, quality, production and continuous improvement
- Utilize the required equipment to perform all the required quality inspections
- Feed the machine at or above the standards set by the manufacturer
- Perform quality checks before and during runs
- Follow all required procedures
- Reports all problems to your supervisor when they occur
- Other duties as assigned

**Safety Responsibility and Accountability**:

- Follow equipment specific physical lock out tag out procedure
- Report all hazards / problems to your Operator and/or Supervisor when they occur.

Other available tools are when hazard rating is low.
- Pre-use inspection form
- Use Manager plus and place a work request
- Use of hazard reporting form
- Report injury / incident to your Supervisor immediately
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety act, and Good housekeeping practices.
- Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) - Gloves, sleeves, safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, Hi
- viz vest in Shipping/warehouse
- Abide by all plant rules, safety rules and regulations of the Company
- Keep fire equipment and exits clear all time
- Zero Tolerance - Workplace Violence and Harassment: Refer to the policy posted on the H&S board.

**Education**:
Minimum Grade 10

Basic Math

**Essential Skills/Qualifications**:
Previous manufacturing experiences an asset

Machine operation skills

Organization skills

Good communication

Flexibility to work rotating shifts

Team Player

Self starter
