**Role**

We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team in Kelowna, British Columbia as Full Time/Part Time and Seasonal Field Service Technicians/Operators for our Weekend Shifts.

As a Field Service Technician/Operator, you will be washing a variety of commercial vehicles, including Trucks, Trailers, Heavy Equipment, Specialized Machinery, and other types of Vehicles, as well as Structures and Building Envelopes. This will involve operating power washers and other equipment while standing or sitting for extended periods.

Technicians will also be trained to use Professional Sweepers, both small and large, to perform large scale sweeping including, but not limited to, parkades, parking lots, roadways and other concrete surfaces.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize and gain expertise in the operation of commercial/industrial equipment and technology. Ongoing training will be provided by our management team to ensure that you are equipped with the necessary skills to perform your tasks effectively.

**Duties**
- Operate pressure washer machinery safely and effectively to clean a variety of surfaces.
- Pressure washing mobile and stationary/mounted equipment
- Assess work areas for safe and effective sweeping as well as scrubbing
- Perform inspections and preparation before and after using equipment/gear
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety practices and procedures
- Appropriately use chemicals by task requirement or when requested by supervisor
- Perform site/object preparation before starting service (may include cleaning of area of rubble, debris, garbage)
- Other Job Duties as assigned
- Consistently log all work (taking notes, and photos) through mobile technology-based work order/scheduling systems.
- Safely Operate Trucks, specialized Equipment, including trailer combinations carrying tools and other machinery.

**Operators Must Have**
- Ability to safely operate vehicle, and trailer combinations
- Valid British Columbia Driver’s License with Clean Driver’s Abstract

**Other Requirements**
- Ability to lift, push, and carry approximately 50 pounds
- Motivation and a willingness to work + learn
- Ability to read, write, and communicate efficiently
- Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions, work independently and multitask
- Ability to perform all physical, mental and environmental job functions
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Air Brake Endorsement is beneficial but not a must.

**Work Environment**

Commonly our day-to-day duties reflect the following:

- Outdoor position in all weather elements (hot/cold, rain/snow)
- PPE Requirement: steel toed boots, safety glasses, hard hat, high visibility clothing, ear plugs
- Potential Exposure: dust, dirt, fumes, possible high noise levels

**Schedule**

Due to the nature of our industry and this posting for a Weekend Position, Field Service Technicians/Operators need to have weekend availability and be able to work late hours.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
