Landscape Operations Manager

**Position Overview**
- Will be required to manage day-to-day operations of the complete Regional Operation and succeed within set budgetary constraints.
- Will be held responsible by the Regional Manager on department hour allocations and quality control.
- Work closely with HR department and Regional Manager to recruit and hire new team members.
- Work closely with Regional Manager to purchase and build fleet.
Property Maintenance:
- Work closely with Regional Manager to build the season schedule for all crews.
- Set up and monitor the day-to-day operation of the full maintenance division.
- Coach, train, and mentor to ensure continuous skill set improvement.
- Work closely with HR to ensure all health & safety is met for specific properties.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations to complete commercial maintenance projects safely, and up to standards.
- Plan, organize and determine the necessary equipment, materials, and team members needed for the best efficiency of each project.
- Work with HR Department and Operations Manager on recruitment and progressive discipline when required.
- Must be comfortable being hands on and willing to put boots to the ground when necessary.
- Responsible for coordinating spring equipment & tool training with all team members.
Property Enhancements:
- Work closely with Regional Manager to estimate out of contract property enhancement projects.
- Schedule approved jobs, order and organize all materials and equipment needed for projects.
- Will be point of contact for enhancement crews on any questions pertaining to active projects.
- Supervise team members and provide constructive feedback
- coach, train and mentor to ensure continuous skill set improvement.
- Able to build strong relationships with subcontractor partners and team members.
- Must be comfortable being hands on and willing to put boots on the ground when necessary.
Snow:
- Will be responsible to train and manage zone leads and supervisors.
- Participate in pre and post storm meetings with team.
- Coordinate with Fleet Manager to ensure equipment is ready to go.
- Work with HR department and Operations Manager to recruit and hire snow team members, ensure progressive discipline policy is followed if required.
- Work with Regional Manager to strategize and allocate resources as required to efficiently complete work, realign zones, assign snow buddies, zone and site foreman and operators.
- Schedule equipment and material floating as required as part of post storm operations.
- Must be comfortable being hands on and willing to put boots to the ground when necessary.
**Who You Are**:
- Proven experience as Site supervisor, foreman or equivalent position
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Extremely self-motivated and committed to achieving results
- Ability to multi-task with an ability to flex to meet company and client needs
- Outstanding communication and people skills
- Familiarity with MS Office
- Must be comfortable being hands on and willing to put boots to the ground when necessary
- High level of problem-solving skills
- Willing to work hard with frequent long hours
