**Your Role and Responsibilities**
As a Test Manager (Test Specialist, Test Management); you will use your consulting and quality engineering expertise in the planning, design, management, execution and reporting of various test activities; using appropriate testing frameworks, tools and techniques, to ensure that the systems under test (new and amended) meet the requirements whether functional or non-functional.

**Requirements**:

- At the outset of the project, and in collaboration with the other stakeholders, devise the test strategy, test objectives and test plans
- Responsible for leading, supporting, and guiding IT testing projects to realize ambitious business targets
- Provide strategic direction to ensure that the project is supporting the client's vision, goals, and objectives
- Experience developing positive and effective relationships at all levels including business, vendors, executives, management, sponsors, and team members
- Be well versed in the structures, processes, and procedures to manage project delivery
- Ensure that test quality standards are followed via regular reviews
- Instate accountability within the stakeholders and suppliers
- Understand the various methods for delivery and ensure that the most appropriate procedures are being utilized to achieve success
- You are well versed with Industry standards, testing certifications and can drive the efforts to bring the project into conformance with such standards by facilitating the development, implementation, and adherence of testing department standards in partnership with other test team leadership
- You understand and can track complex project costs together with wider costs of administering the project
- Develop the plan of bringing together the information on priorities, dependencies, impacts, projects, resources, timescales, monitoring and control
- Responsible for planning the test activities and delivering the test project on time and within budget while meeting all quality objectives
- You will guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test cases, test procedures and test suites in IBM’s Collaborative Lifecycle Management suite
- You can effectively communicate and coordinate between the offshore team and client

Other responsibilities include development of the Master Test Plan and other Detailed Test Plans all the way to obtaining sign-off from stakeholders; building the team; leading people and managing the relationships with other teams on the project.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
This specialization is usually performed by senior test practitioner with experience in leading large test teams. You will have relevant experience of 8-10 years in the IT Quality Engineering with at least 5 years in a testing leadership role managing a team of 15+ resources in different geographic areas.

You will have at least 7+ years in the financial services industry and 2+ years experience in the domain of Payments Testing (i.e. SWIFT, FED, EDI, Interac, Cheque Processing, etc.). Having a specific knowledge of Cheque Processing is a definite asset.

Additional skills required:

- Consulting skills where you have demonstrated written and oral communication skills, with proven experience in relationship management, conflict resolution and the ability to orient a message to the value needs of an audience
- Demonstrated Outstanding communication skills required, including the ability to effectively lead meetings, facilitate solutions, motivate the development team, and create effective documentation
- Ability to build a Program Test Strategy, with demonstrated experience in the development and signoff of the test strategies for the solution and coordinating all test activities within the project. Ability to work smoothly and successfully with people of varied experience, skill levels
- Ability to perform Test planning, test execution coordination, and project planning
- Ability to derive a test dashboard and using it as a way to communicate test execution and defect statuses at different test phases
- Ability to work collaboratively with executives, management and test teams to address challenges and derive a plan for resolution
- Test tool frameworks (experience in planning, requirements, test preparation, test execution and defects management)
