**Summary of Duties**:(Job description available if required)
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, in a 24/7 operation - days, evenings & weekends
- Ability to observe and assess health care levels according to level of practice
- Demonstrated leadership and teaching skills in a health care setting
- Effective problem solving and decision making skills
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written)
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to work independently in a busy, fast paced environment and prioritize duties

**Qualifications**:

- RPN Diploma from an approved college
- Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification
- Certificate in gerontology would be an asset
- CPI, GPA or similar training would be an asset
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience
- Experience working in a retirement, nursing home or similar environment
- Experience working with seniors or adults with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and mental health illnesses

**General Hours of Work**:

- 0 hours bi-weekly or 0 FTE
- Option to pick-up more shifts if available

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $22.18 per hour
