We're hiring multiple full-time & part-time security officers for Commercial & Residential sites in _**Burnaby & Vancouver**_.

**Job Requirements**:

- Valid Security License (BST) - Basic Security Training
- Strong observation and communication skills, the ability to maintain self-control, and the ability to make quick decisions during emergency situations
- Must possess a High School Diploma. An additional diploma/degree/certificate in criminology or a law-enforcement-related study would be considered an asset
- Must be bondable and able to pass a security clearance
- Should be comfortable working alone or within diverse teams and must be able to stick to procedures and set routines
- Must be able to pass a Pre-employment (D&A) Drug & Alcohol Test
- Must have an open availability
- Must act in a disciplined, honest, and ethical manner

**Available Shifts**:

- **Required Evening Shifts (18:00 - 06:00hrs)**

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and visitors by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel
- Evict trespassers/vagrants
- Complete incident reports when necessary
- Providing great customer service to visitors & contractors
- Regular patrolling with the ability to stand for a minimum 8-hour shift
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
