**Job Summary**

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The position will require the incumbent to thoroughly and efficiently ensure an acceptable standard of cleanliness and disinfection of all required areas and surfaces according to customer determined schedules and standards, and shall include:
▪ Sweeping, mopping all floors and ensuring they are kept free of dirt and debris
▪ Wiping and washing all walls and ensuring they are kept free of dirt, dust and marks
▪ Wiping, disinfecting, and polishing of faucets, handles, mirrors, etc.

▪ Cleaning and disinfecting of all toilets, sinks and washroom surfaces
▪ Dusting of surfaces, window sills, wall hangings and cabinet/locker tops
▪ Dusting and damp wiping of all equipment
▪ Scrubbing, hosing and disinfecting of all shower walls, floors, curtains, etc.
▪ Wiping and disinfecting of all countertop surfaces, sitting areas, chairs, benches, etc.
▪ Emptying and removal of all garbage and recycling receptacles into appropriate bins
▪ Restock all product dispensers including soap, sanitizer, toiletry papers, etc.
▪ Tracking product usage and ensuring completion of proper forms for supply re‐orders
▪ Other related cleaning and custodial duties, as required

**Qualifications**

▪ Must be reliable and dependable

▪ Ability to perform light manual labor (physically fit to perform job duties and requirements as stated above)

▪ Experience in cleaning/custodial duties, is an asset

▪ A valid Class “G” Drivers License and access to a vehicle to get to the job site, is a definite asset

▪ Preference will be given to members of Sagamok Anishnawbek

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sudbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
