**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Supply Chain and Facilities Manager, the building and maintenance clerk helps maintain BellatRx's facilities and equipment in good working order. Their tasks include, but are not limited to, maintaining, and repairing BellatRx's facilities (changing light bulbs and fixtures etc.) repairing or installing office furniture and appliances, and keeping BellatRx's facilities clean by clearing or cleaning all types of debris, spills, or damage.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and repair facilities by, among other tasks, painting, plastering, doing light carpentry work, and doing basic plumbing and locksmithing (major repairs are performed under the supervision of licensed maintenance workers).
- Install, repair and service all sort of appliances, furniture, and fixtures. Appliances can include, but are not limited to televisions, coffee machines, fans and heaters.
- Help maintain facilities clean and uncluttered by moving items as required, and clearing or cleaning all types of debris, spills, or damage.
- Periodically mop or sweep heavy traffic areas, including the operation of the company's Zamboni.
- Maintain the Zamboni in good working condition through regular cleaning, replacing water, and making sure the battery is recharged etc.
- Perform regular inspections of facilities to, among other, make sure all light bulbs are operational, bathrooms are stocked, and the carpets and shoe racks are clean and in their proper place.
- Check and manage inventory of cleaning materials and other supplies, and restock, when necessary, by going to supplier locations or ordering items.
- Contact container companies for emptying containers as required.
- When required, perform light custodial duties such as emptying garbage cans, cleaning tables, cleaning windows
- Perform outdoor maintenance work such as keeping fire exits accessible (inside and out), and shoveling and salting entries and shipping bays, etc.

**What we are looking for**:

- 3 years minimum of proven working experience.
- High School Diploma, Technical degree in building maintenance an asset.
- Basic computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to work as part of a self-directed team.
- Possess strong communication and problem solving skills;
- Be able to comfortably lift up to 20 kilograms / 45 pounds;
- Be physically fit with no auditory or back issues;
- Be able to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during long shifts.

**Sommaire du poste**:
Relevant du gestionnaire de la chaîne d'approvisionnement et des installations, le commis aux bâtiments et à l'entretien aide à maintenir les installations et l'équipement de BellatRx en bon état de fonctionnement. Ses tâches comprennent, entre autres, l'entretien et la réparation des installations de BellatRx (changement des ampoules et des luminaires, etc.), la réparation ou l'installation du mobilier et des appareils de bureau, et le maintien de la propreté des installations de BellatRx en éliminant ou en nettoyant tous les types de débris, de déversements ou dégâts.

**Responsabilités générales**:

- Entretenir et réparer les installations en effectuant, entre autres, des travaux de peinture, de plâtrage, de menuiserie légère, de plomberie de base et de serrurerie (les réparations majeures sont effectuées sous la supervision d'agents d'entretien agréés).
- Installer, réparer et entretenir toutes sortes d'appareils, de meubles et d'accessoires. Les appareils comprennent, entre autres, les téléviseurs, les machines à café, les ventilateurs et les appareils de chauffage.
- Contribuer à maintenir les installations propres et dégagées en déplaçant les objets nécessaires et en éliminant ou en nettoyant tous les types de débris, de déversements ou de dommages.
- Passer périodiquement la vadrouille ou le balai dans les zones à forte circulation, y compris pour l'utilisation de la Zamboni de l'entreprise.
- Maintenir la Zamboni en bon état de fonctionnement en la nettoyant régulièrement, en remplaçant l'eau et en veillant à ce que la batterie soit rechargée, etc.
