**Job Summary**:

- Provide specialized assistance for on
- site and yard operations while meeting all quality, productivity, performance, health and safety objectives
- Support the recovery and recycling processes by safely and efficiently dismantling, separating and sorting materials in the shop and on client sites
- Must be able to work weeknights, weekends and out of town, when required
- This position requires outdoor work in varying conditions (heat/cold, etc.)

Operation of forklift, genie boom and skid loader

Working with various types of Oil handling equipment

**Systems & Equipment**:

- PPE requirements (safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, head protection and appropriate gloves), etc.
- Some specialized equipment depending on task (example: working at heights)

Knowledge of all equipment including hand tools, hydraulic, pneumatic and power tools, lift and other heavy equipment

**Education / Knowledge**:

- At minimum, a High School Diploma
- Certified Forklift and/or other lifting device experience
- WHMIS, TDGA
- Familiar with various hazardous and non-hazardous materials and the packaging and transportation of same

Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)

**Additional Knowledge and Experience that would be an asset**
- Conducting Tailboard Safety Talks
- Working at Heights/Fall Prevention
- First Aid/CPR/AED
- Electrical Safety Awareness training awareness
- **MINIMUM** **G License w/clean abstract - DZ License an asset**

Operation and vacuum tanker experience

**Experience**:
Minimum 1 year of dismantling/decommissioning operations and/or previous environmental site, recycling and industrial services experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.32 per hour
