Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Security Guard. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in law enforcement, loss prevention, or surveillance to contribute to the protection of our organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to maintain a secure and safe environment
- Monitor CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect any suspicious activities
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when required
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities

**Requirements**:

- Canadian citizen.
- At least 5 years experience in the field of security services.
- Proven experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, or a related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in security-related fields are a plus
