Your day to day activities will include:

- Controlling and monitoring the complete flow of incoming, transfer wheat systems and tempering systems
- Debriefing with previous shift and communicating with incoming shift regarding overall state of equipment/systems, issues that arose and actions taken to rectify issues
- Grind, test and document results of various wheat samples
- Load all bulk flour tankers for their scheduled shipments
- Collaborating with mill staff and maintenance to assist with production issues
- Contributing to a safe work environment by following all Company policies and procedures including Health, Safety, Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Assisting in daily cleaning activities throughout the facility
- Providing coverage to wheat receiving area, as required
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to safely lift and stack 25kg bags repetitively
- Ability to work days, afternoons and evenings on a rotating schedule
- Ability to work overtime, as required
