Employee Health and Well-being Coordinator

**Position overview**
Are you passionate about employee health and well-being? Do you have a desire to be a change agent that enhances individual and organizational health?
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Oversee non-complex medical cases and liaise with applicable stakeholders (employee, manager, WSBC, union, insurer, etc.)
- Consult with EHW Advisor on complex medical cases or accommodations that require additional SME, input and oversight; consult with EHW Advisor on health and well-being strategy and related events and campaigns
- Support administration and coordination of wellness initiatives, including but not limited to, employee gym management, event coordination, and development and deployment of communication content
- Assist with coordination of all other peripheral initiatives relevant to employee health and well-being strategy
**Key qualifications include**:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, supplemented by a post-secondary degree in Kinesiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Science and/or Disability Management; or a combination of education and work experience
- Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships, and strong project management and coordination skills (preferably within corporate wellness programs)
- Demonstrated versatility with communication skills that can be applied to a variety of settings (e.g. private/confidential medical cases, health promotion, vendor management)
- Strong understanding of disability management methodologies, occupational medicine and rehabilitation, health and well-being programming approaches (e.g. the ‘Standard’)
- Strong knowledge of labour law, privacy and confidentiality regulations, and duty to inquire /accommodate processes
- Demonstrated passion towards health and wellness with a strong desire to be a change agent to promote organizational health, brand and culture
