**Core Job Functions**:
All duties and responsibilities below are in no particular order as may be defined as per safe and efficient operational process
- Transfer liquids from railcars into bulk tankers per company procedures
- Accurate and timely completion of all paperwork
- Opening and closing rail cars as per company procedure
- Point of contact for employees and customers
- Scheduling loading and unloading times with customers
- Operating all railyard including but not limited to: front end loader, rail car mover, RTV and pick up truck.
- Daily inspections of terminal offloading area
- Inspect all incoming tank cars to ensure safe offloading
- Handling the hookup and offloading of rail cars
- Ensuring safety of all employees
- Conducting tool box meetings
- Assist in the development and implementation of JHA’s and SWP’s
- Perform minor repairs
- Light maintenance of the terminal tank cars
- Maintain a close working relationship with Terminal Manager, helping with but not limited to: customer relations, scheduling, safety investigations, employee time off requests etc.
- Communicate with Terminal Manager on Health & Safety, Operations, and Maintenance
- Ensure that work area is maintained in a clean and orderly manner
- Other duties as assigned and as per regular routine in a railyard and trucking terminal

**Job Requirements**:

- Previous Rail experience considered an asset
- Safety focused attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
- Utilizes exemplary time management skills
- Proven mentor with the ability orientate, train, delegate and provide periodic reviews of employees and deliver input to Terminal Manager on any course of corrective action or beneficial measures that may be needed
- Furthered rail training-Internal Audit training-Track inspection-rail mover etc.
- Ability to certify in Fall Arrest, First Aid/CPR, TGD, Emergency Response, etc.
- Ability to work at heights per company procedure
- Ability to lift 40-60 lbs
