**Responsibilities and Job Duties**:

- Managing subscriber appointments, billings, related medical documentation and paper follow-up for the clinic health care providers.
- Ensure that subscribers are moved through in a timely and professionally manner and that exam rooms are prepped at all times.
- Follow-up on all test results and maintain import pool/tasks for our clinics nurse practitioners and medical staff
- Data entry into the clinics secure computerized medical system for patient info, scheduling and billing.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, protecting subscribers’ rights.
- Oversee the clinic supply needs and complete all forms as requested by the Clinic Manager.
- Maintain operations by following policies and procedures.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Able to remain professional and handle multi-tasked items in professional manner.
- Must act with integrity and be willing to work assigned shifts.
- Punctuality and good attendance are required
- Process payments from patients
- Order and restock office and medical supplies and ensure rooms are adequately stocked
- Other duties as assigned

**Education & Qualifications**:

- Graduate of a recognized Medical Office Receptionist program or equivalent experience.
- Bondable as a clear criminal record check/vulnerable sector check as required
- 2-4+ years Clinic receptionist experience including medical billing & EMR system.
- Proven ability to multi-task, time management skills, telephone etiquette skills, high attention to detail, professionalism, quality focused, high organizational skills and data entry skills.
- Familiar with software packages such as word and excel is considered an asset.

**Preference given to those with FAMILY PRACTICE or WALK-IN experience.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
