Banquet Bartender

**Job Title**: Professional Bartender

**Department**: Hotel Lobby Bar

**Reports Directly To**: Food & Beverage Supervisor, Assistant Restaurant Manager, & Restaurant Manager

**Job Summary**: To serve guests in an efficient and professional manner under the LLBO/Smart Serve regulations and within the Department of Health guidelines.
- Serves cocktails in a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable manner.
- Is up to date with current trends and classics for all liquor, cocktails, beers and wines.
- Uses appropriate glassware and garnishes.
- Informs management of results, guest’s impressions and complaints etc., affecting the guest or the general hotel operation.
- Maintains a clean working environment.
- Completes daily checklists and nightly inventories and orders.
- Will support Banquet functions as needed
- Professional hotel-suited appearance and attire.
- Confident, trustworthy, organized, service orientated and a good team player.
- Great communicator.
- Functions well under stress.
- Able to understand and to carry out any guest requests effectively and with courtesy.
- Take and receive direction from Manager or Supervisor.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to work independently.
- Up to date with Smart Serve & LLBO regulations.

Completed high school.

Current Smart Serve Certification.

Minimum 21 years of age.

Mixology course an asset.

Minimum 3-5years of bartending experience.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
