**Ottawa - Installer**

Consolidated Office Installation Services is growing, and seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, individual to join our office systems installation team immediately for the Lead Installer position. This position involves delivering and installing all types of office furniture and case goods into offices, institutions and stores. The applicant should have experience on Haworth, Steelcase, Teknion, Herman Miller, Global, Allsteel and Knoll panel systems, and a good knowledge of the unique handling requirements of furniture.

The Lead Installer should have strong leadership skills and have the ability to motivate and direct the team to successfully complete the tasks assigned.

Rate of pay for experienced crew lead starts at $22/hour, depending on experience. Driver’s license required, bilingualism is an asset. Must have own tools and must be bondable.

Physical fitness necessary (lifting up to 50 lbs), Steady work regular hours, evenings and weekends where required.

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Read and interpret blueprints, product drawings and specifications
Load and unload trucks with supplies, product and equipment
Assemble and install office systems furniture
Effectively handle power and hand tools
Perform service and repair assessments and installations
Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Capable of working with limited supervision
Perform well in a fast-paced environment

- Condition physique nécessaire (soulever jusqu'à 50 lb), Travail régulier aux heures régulières, les soirs et les fins de semaine, au besoin.

- Diriger et superviser les membres de l'équipe

Lire et interpréter des plans, des dessins de produits et des spécifications
Charger et décharger des camions avec des fournitures, des produits et de l'équipement
Assembler et installer le mobilier des systèmes de bureau
Manipuler efficacement les outils électriques et manuels
Effectuer des évaluations et des installations de service et de réparation
Veiller à ce que toutes les précautions de sécurité et les normes de qualité soient respectées
Capable de travailler avec une supervision limitée
Bien performer dans un environnement en évolution rapide
Outils et équipement de sécurité requis.
