The **CAD Drafter** will work with a team of designers, engineers and project managers utilizing AutoCAD and related products to produce complete drawing deliverables.
**Job duties include but are not limited to**:
- Develop reinforced concrete drawings based on design provided by engineers.
- Develop mechanical drawings based on contractual requirement.
- Develop annotative details and sections
- Develop shop drawings (steel plate and piping)
- Coordinate with engineers, shop and construction operations to meet fabrication and constructability requirements
**Required Qualifications**:
- High proficient use of Autodesk AutoCAD.
- 3-D modelling experience as an asset
- Experienced with structural steel, reinforced concrete, steel plate and mechanical design.
- Understanding of engineering principles, assembly, fabrication, and construction
- Knowledge of engineering workflow process and industry standards.
- Ability to work in teams on completion of deliverables with challenging schedules
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
**Background**:
- Disciplined in Architectural/Civil/Mechanical Technology or Technician
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in a professional services design firm or comparable experience

Pay: $15.50-$31.00 per hour
