- Field testing and commissioning locally and Overseas
- Site Surveying - Inspect installation and identify problems, installation information and other key aspects that may require attention when commissioning products
- (SAT) Site Acceptance Test - Understanding clients requirements to pass SAT outcomes and ensure all tests can be satisfied or otherwise negotiated for a realistic solution
- Testing and Qualification - Verify Software functionality and checking any configurations to produce alarms or outputs are operating correctly
- Provide development team with new ideas and feature requests from the experience gained on site to assist with further developing our product range.
- Documentation - Commissioning, Support Calls, Testing and Qualification all require clear documentation. This will be key for producing a high standard of work that requires ongoing support for long term projects, further developing our understanding, improving processes and providing better solutions
- Training - Provide training to our customers on operation of products installed.

**Skills and experience**
- Industrial Field service
- Good customer communication and report writing
- Good knowledge Networking and Communication Protocols
- Knowledge of Linux Terminal and Shell Commands will be an advantageous.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of electronics and can comfortably perform circuit testing and diagnostics to identify and solve problems
- Experience industrial communication protocols such as Modbus and RS232
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite to produce high quality documentation

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Bachelor of Electronic Engineering

**Availability**:
Applicant must have flexible availability for traveling interstate or overseas with an average expected travel of 1week every month or 25% of the year. Frequency of travel will vary depending on requirements of job. Some jobs may only require 1day visits as where others can be as long as a month. Majority of the time you will be required to work at the Hawk Head Office assisting with testing or supporting remotely.

Remuneration package is negotiable, based on experience.
