Combo Vac Operator

**Position Summary**

JVC Group is currently looking for an experienced **Combo Vac Operator **to join our team. This position is a full time, long term role with a stable and consistent schedule in the local Edmonton area. The **Combo Vac Operator** must be able perform safe operation of specialized equipment with proper understanding of dealing with dangerous goods and all necessary paperwork involved. They must demonstrate a positive attitude with fellow workers and clients and ensure all equipment is kept clean, properly maintained, and ready for work.

Compensation: $28 to $36 per hour

**Mandatory Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**
- 2 + years of vac truck operator experience.
- Experience in dangerous goods hauling and handling is necessary.
- Heavy equipment experience is an asset.
- H2S Alive and CSTS 2020 certificates are required. Training in Standard First Aid, Confined Space Entry/Monitor, Ground Disturbance and Fall Protection is an asset.
- Valid class 3 driver’s licence, with clean driving abstract.
- Ability to assist and perform repairs and maintenance duties (on-road and off-road equipment).

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Experience with MS Office Suite (must be able utilize a computer/tablet and other technology applicable to the job)
- Capable of setting and managing priorities to meet all deadlines
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
