- Utilize GIS software, such as ArcGIS, to create and maintain accurate maps and spatial data
- Collect and analyze geographic data, including satellite imagery, aerial photographs, and GPS data
- Build and update GIS databases by inputting new data and verifying accuracy of existing data
- Perform data management tasks, such as cleaning and organizing datasets
- Create visualizations and reports using GIS tools to present spatial information
- Collaborate with internal departments to provide GIS support for various projects
- Work with external organizations or First Nations to provide GIS support for various projects

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in geography or equivalent course work at a technical or vocational school in GIS, Computer Science, or other GIS-related fields with three years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS or QGIS
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software
- Experience in data collection and analysis using GIS tools
- Familiarity with spatial analysis techniques and geodatabases
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities

**Salary**: $61,558.00-$68,547.00 per year
