When working as an **Automation Technician **at **Formula Solutions Inc**, you will have the opportunity to embark on an exciting career path
- with a focus on furthering skills development and manufacturing excellence in the aerospace, defense and motorsport sectors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Electromechanical technical support for aerospace factory
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, tuning, and repairing small robotic assembly line
- Programming stand-alone robotic arms
- Wrenching on mechanical components; removing valves, lines, crimping wires, swapping components
- Solidworks CAD modeling and drafting
- CAM programming (5-axis and Mastercam experience beneficial)
- Experience programming Siemens PLCs
- Familiar with FANUC controller interfaces to program robotic arms
- Follow maintenance schedule and own spare parts inventory, for automated line and robots
- Equipment commissioning and testing
- Factory system integration and optimization
- Development of fixtures, tools, mechanical and electrical equipment to improve workflow
- Strives for Continuous Improvement including looking at production efficiencies and lean manufacturing
- Works with manufacturing team to understand bottlenecks to quality and propose alternatives as necessary to meet demand

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Troubleshooting and problem solving
- Creative “figure it out” attitude
- Hands-on experience fixing electromechanical devices
- Attention to detail and well organized
- Good communication skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment

**Preferred Skills and Experience**:

- Post secondary diploma in a technical field
- Prior experience working in start up company beneficial
- Procurement (scope preparation, technical bid analysis)
- Previous experience in the aerospace or automative industry

Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
