**WORK SCHEDULE**:
Monday to Friday - 7:30 am to 4 pm

**JOB SUMMARY**:
Reporting to the Supervisor of Roads & Fleet, this is skilled mechanical work at the journeyman level in the repair and maintenance of automotive and related equipment in the field and shop.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:
Current and valid Certificate of Trades Qualification in Commercial, Heavy Duty, or Automotive. Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) Certification.
Possession of a valid Class 3 BC Drivers Licence with air endorsement for highway vehicles and good driving record.
Three (3) years job-related hands-on experience in the overhaul and adjustment of automotive, construction, and maintenance equipment in a local government environment, or recognized equivalent.
