We are looking for a hard-working, cheerful individual who is passionate about cleanliness and great customer service to work part-time days, evenings & weekends in our casino. This **permanent part-time role** will work an estimated 16-24 hours per week and will need to be available to cover vacations.

Under the direction of the Facilities & Project Manager, the Custodian is responsible to efficiently clean, disinfect and maintain the inside of the casino premises primarily during operating hours. This role’s duties include, but are not limited to the following:

- Observing the condition of the premises and equipment and report needed repairs, safety hazards or conditions requiring outside vendor services;
- Frequently dusting, vacuuming, washing, gathering and disposing of garbage, polishing furniture and general cleaning of washroom facilities, walls, ceilings, windows and woodwork;
- Frequently disinfecting surfaces throughout the facility; and
- Work independently in a team environment.

Have you got what we need?
- Be at least 19 years of age;
- Physically able to complete the required cleaning duties;
- Be able to obtain valid Serving It Right certification prior to employment;
- Physically fit and able to lift 60lbs. on an occasional to regular basis;
- Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools and equipment of custodial services; and
- Minimum 1 year of cleaning experience preferably for a commercial building.
