**Pedagogical Leader - Maple Tree Preschool Non-Profit**
**Job Title**: Pedagogical Leader/Member of the MTP Pedagogical Leadership Committee
**Reports To**:Team Leader and Early Learning and Leadership Mentor
**Job Summary**
The Pedagogical Leader is responsible for supporting Educators and programs within their specific site at Maple Tree Preschool Non-Profit, focusing on pedagogy, curriculum, and early intervention. They will use positive mentoring and coaching strategies to support the growth of their team members, striving to offer enriching and intentional early learning programming. This role will work in close collaboration with the Team Leader as they create a shared vision of how to best support their Educator teams. As the role will take place outside of ratio, the Pedagogical Leader will commit their schedule to spending quality time in each of their site’s programs, being a collaborator, thinking partner, coach, and mentor to Educators.
Through this journey, the Pedagogical Leader will strengthen their own knowledge and understanding of pedagogical best practices in the Early Years, early intervention strategies, leadership, coaching and mentoring; Maintaining a growth mindset and ongoing commitment to professional learning and growth will be essential.
**Duties and Responsibilities - The Pedagogical Leader Will**:
- Support all programs with a focus on pedagogy, curriculum, and professional learning.
- Support all Educators with a focus on educator well-being and growth.
- Collaborate with the Team Leader to create and maintain an ongoing shared vision of support for the team and their programs.
- Contribute feedback and perspectives to Team Leader coaching sessions for Educators.
- Reflect on the ways in which all elements of _How Does Learning Happen_ and the _Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice_ live and breathe in all programs.
- Complete weekly _Pedagogical Leadership Support Overviews_.
- Collaborate with Educators to ensure ASQ’s are completed, scored, and intervention overviews are completed _(administration will take place in monthly working meetings)._
- Will support educators in ensuring ASQ content and early intervention strategies are being organically embedded in program.
- Track and document their hours of support to submit to the Early Learning and Leadership Mentor on a weekly basis.
- Openly collaborate with other members of the MTP-NP Pedagogical Leadership Committee.
- Take the lead in ensuring the monthly _Pedagogical Leadership Administrative Duties_ are being completed in collaboration with Educators.
- Take part in monthly coaching sessions and connections with the Team Leader and Early Learning and Leadership Mentor.
**Supporting others through coaching and mentoring - the Pedagogical Leader will**:

- Gathering insights into what Educators are curious about, what their goals are and what they would like to have support with.
**Collaboration with the Team Leader - the Pedagogical Leader and Team Leader will**:
