**Other Information**:In the absence of securing certified teachers with a minimum Bachelor of Education Degree, the
facilitate meaningful learning experiences for our students. Although Seine River School Division is dedicated to
having professional, certified teachers providing classroom instruction for our students, a Limited Teaching Permit
(LTP) can be applied for by the school division and is reviewed by the professional certification unit which provides
Seine River School Division with a minimum standard for substitute teachers who don’t possess a Bachelor of
Education Degree.

**Responsibilities**:

- Adhering to the curriculum and lesson plans assigned by the regular teacher
- Following procedures and achieving lesson plan goals
- Overseeing students outside of the classroom, including in the hallways and cafeteria
- Always complying with all regulations and policies
- Overseeing the normal classroom rhythms and activities

**Qualifications**:

- Must have post-secondary education***
- Excellent organizational & time management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in both official languages (French & English) is an asset

As a condition of employment, all new hires must complete a satisfactory criminal record check with vulnerable
sector search, and child abuse registry check as part of the hiring process.
Salary & benefits for this position will be administered in accordance with the SRSD/SRTA collective bargaining
agreement (CBA).
