**Job description**

Guardian Fire & Electrical is seeking a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter with fire alarm experience to add to our team. We offer a unique opportunity to advance and grow with us.

Utilize your experience and technical skills to perform new installations, inspections and preventative maintenance fire sprinkler systems in industrial, commercial and residential settings.

We specialize in fire alarm installation, troubleshooting and maintenance. You must have experience in this field in order to be eligible for consideration.
- Able to perform troubleshooting, installation and inspection services of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, hydrants and backflows independently and reliably.
- Coordinate with management and clients to deliver the highest level of service.
- Adhere to company standards, client's site protocols and design specifications.
- Conduct technical evaluation of mechanical systems and components and provide reports and recommendations for repair and maintenance to maintain performance or meet client's demands.
- Performs electrical work required for installation and maintenance of equipment, systems and facilities in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufactures specifications.
- Performs preventative maintenance on, and repairs of fire sprinkler systems.
- Provide material list and labour units for Inspection Deficiencies
- Ability to assist in quoting deficiencies
- Ensure all installations meet safety codes and have applicable permits, inspections and test reports.
- Assistance with electrical installations and maintenance will be required.

**Qualifications**
- Red Seal Journeyman Certification. Consideration will be given to an apprentice with the proper qualification.
- Valid backflow ticket
- Residential, Commercial and Industrial experience
- Valid Alberta Driver's License
- Fire Alarm Experience is 100% necessary
- Available for work in Edmonton and surrounding areas
- Highly Motivated and able to work alone
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening if required.
