**Job Overview**:
The _Store Team Lead_ will assist the _Store Supervisor_ and team members in the daily store operations. They will be responsible for providing the highest level of service possible to customers. Providing product knowledge to softly encourage purchasing and coordinating the point-of-sale process within company standards and expectations. Collaborates with other departments internally to ensure the execution of sales transactions for efficient and effective service. The _Store Team Lead_ will also be responsible for covering the duties of the _Store Supervisor_ when they are unavailable, as well as closing down and locking up each day.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides the highest service level possible to all customers, actively listening with patience and understanding. Provide solutions and alternative options to meet the customer’s needs.
- Respond to customers in person, by phone, or by electronic means promptly and professionally.
- Stays current with product knowledge, accessing accurate pricing, and keeping current with industry product trends.
- Processing orders with a high level of accuracy for delivery or pick-up, tracking existing orders, and may need to consult other departments while tracking.
- Handle complaints with the objective of solving the problem. Looks for creative solutions to not only resolve the customer’s concern but exceed expectations wherever possible.
- Prepares quotes and creates take
- offs from blueprint plans to establish order needs. Address any issues and confirm for accuracy before finalizing the order.
- Close down the showroom and lock up at the end of each day.
- Trains existing employees and new hires on applicable policies and procedures
- Provide coverage for the Store Supervisor when they are unavailable or away to sign off on approvals, and lead the inside sales team as needed.
- Maintains stock, displays, and housekeeping for assigned areas.
- Observe and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that a safe and positive work environment and culture are maintained.
- Completes other jobs assigned to assist the supervisor, other employees and other work areas, as may be needed.

**Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills**:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (requirement).
- Professional inside sales experience (requirement).
- 1 year experience with selling building products (preferred).
- Experience with technical computer systems is required, such as Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook), Enterprise Resource Systems, Point of Sales systems, and other relevant systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Above-average reading, writing, and active listening skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship building skills.
- Strong product knowledge and sales acumen.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude.
- Ability to collaborate with team members.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to execute. Determining “how” rather than “if”.
- Consistent ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet timely deadlines.
- Highly organized and maintains a tidy personal workspace.
- Strong problem-solving skills.

**Salary**: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
