Electrical Draftsman/woman

**Job Purpose**

Milo Group is an expanding company that takes pride in planning ahead to ensure execution is effortless and problem free. This role involves reporting to and taking direction from project management to produce plans and details. These plans include but are not limited to piping layout drawings, circuit legends and schedules, layouts for distribution installations, rough-in plans, panel schedules, schematics, and lighting renders. The individual would work closely with other drafters from other disciplines. This position would allow a suitable applicant with drafting experience to learn a trade and grow with the company.

**Key Duties**
- Plan and develop detailed plans for use in the field
- Adhere to standard process and design standards

**Skills and Experience**
- 5 years experience with CAD software.
- Experience with Bluebeam software.
- Able to make reasonable decisions.
- Strong communication.
- Diploma in Electrical Technologist or Engineering is an asset.
- Diploma in Drafting Technology is an asset
- Experience in the electrical field is an asset.
- Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and electrical standards is an asset.
- Experience with AGI32 is an asset.

**Salary**: $17.46-$34.91 per hour

- Red Deer, AB T4P 3R3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 5 years (preferred)
- Electrical Design: 1 year (preferred)
