Under the responsibility of the Project Manager, the Splicer is responsible for making the required connections for the construction of fiber optic networks. He has an essential role in the quality of FTTH projects.

**Responsibilities**:
**Here is a preview of your day-to-day**:

- Interpret technical specifications, fusion plans and drawings;
- Perform installation and opening of boxes (aerial and underground) according to customer standards;
- Prepare cables;
- Splice and maintain cables and optical fibers;
- Splice and maintain cables and optical fibers; Perform fusion of optical fibers (inside or outside);
- Perform tests and analyze results (OTRD and posemeter);
- Climb poles and ladders to perform work at heights and/or in confined spaces.

Qualifications:
**A summary of the skills required to be successful in this position**:

- Have 3 to 5 years of FTTH experience;
- Hold a valid class G driver's license;
- Excellent manual skills;
- Be comfortable working at heights (aerial platform or ladder) and outdoors;
- Be perfectly comfortable with reading plans;
- Have a strong sense of responsibility and autonomy;
- Have the concern of a job well done;
- Interest in travelling and working outdoors;
