IT Manager

**FULL- TIME IT MANAGER POSITION - METRO TRUCK GROUP, STONEY CREEK, ON.**

The Metro Truck Group is a full-service centre for all heavy truck and trailer needs, providing a large base of services across ten convenient locations. We are rapidly growing and, in our expansion, we are looking to add to an IT Manager to our IT team at our Head Office in Stoney Creek.

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Oversee and/or perform the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware, software, and networks
- Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems
- Develop and enforce IT security policies to protect the organization from internal and external threats
- Monitor the organization’s networks for security breaches and investigate cyber incidents as needed
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, setting clear objectives and expectations
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for software, hardware, and service providers
- Coordinate with other departments/branch locations to provide efficient technical support and troubleshoot system-related issues
- Perform all duties related to communications installations including: company cell phones, landlines, cell phone repairs, tv installs etc.
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals
- Staying up-to-date with new IT developments in the industry
- Work alongside co-workers, and management in a cooperative manner
- General housekeeping duties

**Qualifications**:

- 7+ years of IT technician experience required, previous IT management or similar roles considered strong asset
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, systems management, and cybersecurity best practices
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Degree or diploma in related field considered a strong asset
- Manufacturing or Automotive Dealership experience considered an asset
- Must have _a valid drivers license with your own vehicle _
- **While performing the duties of this Job, IT team members are regularly required to stand; walk; bend; lift; and occasional ladder/scissor lift use**:
