We hope you are up for the challenge We are currently seeking to fill a **GRAPHIC DESIGNER **role at our Concord, ON head office.

**SKILL & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS**
- A college or university degree in a related field with at 1-3 years of business experience.
- Knowledge and/or experience in: Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, video editing such as After Effects, and Premiere Pro; basic ftp software and HTML.
- Knowledge of WordPress (editing website and landing page creation)
- A portfolio that showcases the design of flyers, postcards, brochures, social media posts, banners, print assets, etc
- Packaging design knowledge is an asset understanding of typography and branding
- 1-2 years’ experience in Graphic Design.
- Knowledge of basic product marketing fundamentals, theories, and processes
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work effectively as a team member
- Able to schedule, plan and prioritize work in accordance with NPI (New Product Introduction) goals
- Teamwork and Collaboration; Adaptability; Initiative, Integrity, Individual Accountability, Organizational Excellence
- Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as proficiency in understanding and working with databases
- Ability to critically think and problem solve

- Self-starter with ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Content writing experience would be an asset
- **ESSENTIAL DUTIES** **& RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work as a team member within the design and marketing team, supporting all Graphic Design requirements.
- As part of the design team, design activities may include, the company’s graphics including all sales and marketing materials such as catalogues, online banners and branded materials.
- Working alongside marketing and product teams to develop Point of Sales Materials, packaging and adverts.
- Managing and maintaining a content database of all online and offline marketing materials and content.
- Managing artwork to ensure that brand guidelines are adhered to throughout the company’s materials.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding production of materials ensuring these are taking into consideration with internal deadlines.
- Taking down design briefs and translating these into creative but practical branded materials.
- Making design decisions based on analytical data and user testing results
- Responsible for designing and updating all packaging artwork
- Brainstorm current ideas for creative assets at Ronco
- Keep abreast with competitor material and ensure RONCO’s material is of the same standard
- Ensure that all collateral material meets the company guidelines and timeline.
- Work with outside vendors to print and distribute material.
- Assist manager in executing marketing concepts and activities; write content and coordinate graphic design operations for various types of media (e-flyers, flyers, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, posters, press releases, etc.)
- Mailing campaigns: Prepare and execute tasks related to mailing campaigns (i.e. Prepare lists, execute mail merges, collect and prepare collateral material)
- Other duties as assigned
