**Behaviour Interventionist**: 1:1 in-home educator providing behaviour and academic support for children with exceptionalities such as an Autism Diagnosis and ADHD.

FIVE Behaviour and Education are recruiting Interventionists to provide one to one intensive behavioural therapy based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis for children and youth with a diagnosis of Autism and another related diagnosis. Behaviour Interventionists will follow individualized programs created by a multidisciplinary team of clinicians including Behaviour Consultants, Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists in the family home or out in the community. We provide training

Wages are competitive, you can elect to become a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) we will pay for your schooling You're also eligible for extended medical and dental if you work 20 hours a week

We are hiring for Victoria, **Sooke**, Sidney, Langford and Cowichan Valley
- Love working with children and youth
- Be able to both work on your own as well as in a team atmosphere.
- Have a reliable mode of transportation.
- Able to give a one-year commitment. These kids need this
- Background in ABA (an asset, we also provide training)
- Have basic computer skills and access to a computer.
- Be dependable, have patience, good organizational skills as well as amazing play skills.
- Be able to take initiative and express needs.
- Have a flexible schedule
- Must be a clear and professional communicator, able to set boundaries.

**Required Education and Experience**:

- Have a Post-secondary education in a related field; Psychology, ECE, Child and Youth Care, Special Education Assistant (asset)
- At least 6 months of previous experience with children or youth with diverse abilities.
- First aid or willingness to obtain.
- Clear criminal record check.
- NVCIP or MANDT training or willingness to obtain.
- Valid BC Drivers License

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
