**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled foods, including meats, vegetables, and seafood, according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding areas.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is prepared safely and meets quality standards.
- Assist with meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as needed.
- Follow all food handling procedures to maintain food safety in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on grill operation and food preparation techniques.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies needed for meal preparation.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in food service or the restaurant industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new culinary skills is highly desirable.
