Postpartum Doula

We’re currently seeking community-minded Postpartum Doulas to join our team. The Postpartum Doula’s role is to provide inclusive, trauma-informed care to families and their newborns.

Brood is a community of birth workers, doulas, and parents, redefining the meaning of family. We do this by providing inclusive, intersectional, accessible education and support that focuses on unique birth experiences.

We are seeking someone who:

- Is certified in Postpartum and/or Full Spectrum birth work
- Is passionate about caring for families and newborns
- Preferably has doula (or childcare) experience
- Is focused on inclusivity and equity in their work
- Has their own vehicle or access to vehicle
- Is organized, communicative and responsive
- Loves working in a close-knit team and supporting their coworkers

What you'll do:

- Aid in education about postpartum healing
- Newborn care: assistance with soothing, diapering, bathing, feeding and sleep.
- Sleep support for the whole family
- Nursing, bottle and feeding counsel
- Home upkeep, tidying
- Encouraging the support of mental health and wellness

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
