Our **Timberlands Food Store** in Red Deer is looking for a part-time **Grocery Clerk **to join our team.
**Part-time**:24 - 36 hours/week. Benefit eligible after 3 months.
- This position provides benefits, if you are coming from out of province please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider._
**Availability requirements**: Weekdays and weekends - mornings (5:00 AM start), afternoons and evenings (up to 10:00 PM).
**Responsibilities**:
- Unload grocery shipments,
- Order, receive, stock, and face hardware and general merchandise,
- Greet customers and respond to customer questions,
- Directing junior team members,
- Be alert for unauthorized removal of merchandise,
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment,
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent communication skills,
- Attention to detail and quality,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
- Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.),
- Must be over the age of 14 (Employment Standards requires a permit to employ a person age 14 or under; therefore, disclosure is required).
